Junior Crossword (Children) Pack PDF SAMPLE

    11x11 grid in traditional crossword style with British English spelling – solve the clues to fill in the crossword grid. Junior Crossword is designed especially for children with slightly longer more descriptive clues and answer words a child would know. For extra help the answer words are provided underneath the grid. This crossword is sure to keep youngsters engaged and entertained. The Junior Crossword uses British English Spellings. Colour is not needed to solve this puzzle.

  • Your task is to work out the answer to each clue and write that answer into the blank spaces in the crossword, putting one letter in each box. Write your answers from left to right for Across clues and top to bottom for Down clues. Some clues need you to work out a missing word. E.g. ‘Beauty And The …’ needs the answer BEAST. Brackets after a clue show the number of letters needed.  E.g.’ Jumbo animal (8)’ is ELEPHANT. If you get stuck, the Word List has all the words that fit in the puzzle.
